Saily eSIM Plans for Panama
What you get with Saily in Panama
Which Saily plan should you pick?
For a short city break of 3–5 days, the cheapest plan at £1.00 will cover Maps, WhatsApp, and casual browsing. If you're spending one to two weeks travelling around Panama, step up to a mid-tier plan — usually the strongest value option on a per-GB basis in Saily's Panama lineup.
If you plan to work remotely, stream video daily, or use your phone as a hotspot for a laptop, lean towards a larger bundle.
One thing to note: Saily Panama plans are data-only. You won't get a local number, but your existing SIM handles calls and texts as normal. iMessage, WhatsApp, and FaceTime all work over data.

Saily eSIM for Panama 2026 — what you need to know
Saily is a well-regarded eSIM provider with solid Panama coverage. Plans range from short-break options to longer-stay packages, making Saily a flexible choice whether you're spending a long weekend or travelling for a month.
Panama has four operators: Más Móvil (after the Movistar acquisition by Cable & Wireless), Tigo (Millicom), Claro and Digicel. Tigo and Más Móvil have the widest 4G across Panama City, Colón, David and the populated bits of the country. 5G has been launched commercially in Panama City and is expanding to other urban centres. The San Blas islands (Guna Yala) have very limited signal, the comarca runs on its own infrastructure and most travellers go offline there. Boquete and Bocas del Toro both have decent coverage in town, less so on the surrounding trails and remote islands. The Darién Gap is essentially off-grid.
Is Saily good in Panama?
In our testing, Saily connected reliably across major cities and travel routes in Panama. Plug is type A/B (110V, same as the US) and Panama uses the US dollar as legal tender alongside the balboa, the coins are interchangeable. The Panama Canal cruise from Panama City to Colón has signal most of the way through.
