📅
Flexible up to 30 days
Ubigi Montenegro plans run up to 30 days from first use. Buy in advance so you're ready the moment you land.

Which Ubigi plan should you pick?

For a short city break of 3–5 days, the cheapest plan at £4.00 will cover Maps, WhatsApp, and casual browsing. If you're spending one to two weeks travelling around Montenegro, step up to a mid-tier plan — usually the strongest value option on a per-GB basis in Ubigi's Montenegro lineup.

If you plan to work remotely, stream video daily, or use your phone as a hotspot for a laptop, lean towards a larger bundle — the 10 GB option is the safer choice. The unlimited plans are priced at a premium but make sense for heavy users who don't want to track usage.

One thing to note: Ubigi Montenegro plans are data-only. You won't get a local number, but your existing SIM handles calls and texts as normal. iMessage, WhatsApp, and FaceTime all work over data.

Ubigi eSIM for Montenegro 2026 — what you need to know

Ubigi is a well-regarded eSIM provider with solid Montenegro coverage. Plans range from short-break options to longer-stay packages, making Ubigi a flexible choice whether you're spending a long weekend or travelling for a month.

Montenegro has three operators: Crnogorski Telekom (Magenta, part of Deutsche Telekom), m:tel CG and One (formerly Telenor). Crnogorski Telekom and m:tel both run 5G across Podgorica, Budva, Kotor, Tivat and Bar. The Bay of Kotor has solid coverage all the way around, and the coast from Herceg Novi down to Ulcinj is well covered. Inland is where it gets variable, Durmitor national park around Žabljak has signal in the village but the deeper canyons drop out, and the Tara River rafting routes are mostly off-grid. Montenegro is small enough that any of the three networks is fine for a coastal trip.

Is Ubigi good in Montenegro?

In our testing, Ubigi connected reliably across major cities and travel routes in Montenegro. Plug is type C/F (230V) and Montenegro unilaterally uses the euro, even though it's not in the EU or eurozone, so prices are familiar. EU roaming bundles do not apply though, check your eSIM.
