Ubigi eSIM Plans for Cyprus
What you get with Ubigi in Cyprus
Which Ubigi plan should you pick?
For a short city break of 3–5 days, the cheapest plan at £4.00 will cover Maps, WhatsApp, and casual browsing. If you're spending one to two weeks travelling around Cyprus, step up to a mid-tier plan — usually the strongest value option on a per-GB basis in Ubigi's Cyprus lineup.
If you plan to work remotely, stream video daily, or use your phone as a hotspot for a laptop, lean towards a larger bundle — the 50 GB option is the safer choice. The unlimited plans are priced at a premium but make sense for heavy users who don't want to track usage.
One thing to note: Ubigi Cyprus plans are data-only. You won't get a local number, but your existing SIM handles calls and texts as normal. iMessage, WhatsApp, and FaceTime all work over data.

Ubigi eSIM for Cyprus 2026 — what you need to know
Ubigi is a well-regarded eSIM provider with solid Cyprus coverage. Plans range from short-break options to longer-stay packages, making Ubigi a flexible choice whether you're spending a long weekend or travelling for a month.
Cyprus has three operators in the south (the Republic): Cyta, Epic (formerly MTN) and Primetel. Cyta is the incumbent and has the widest 5G and 4G footprint across Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa. Epic is a strong second. The Troodos mountains have signal in the main villages like Platres and Pedoulas but trails up to Mount Olympus can drop out. The Akamas peninsula and the wilder bits of the west coast are weaker. Northern Cyprus runs on completely different operators (KKTCell and Vodafone), and your southern eSIM will not roam there cleanly.
Is Ubigi good in Cyprus?
In our testing, Ubigi connected reliably across major cities and travel routes in Cyprus. Plug is type G (three-pin, 230V), another British colonial leftover. The Republic of Cyprus uses the euro, the north uses Turkish lira. Driving is on the left, also a UK leftover.
