Saily eSIM Plans for Chile
What you get with Saily in Chile
Which Saily plan should you pick?
For a short city break of 3–5 days, the cheapest plan at £1.00 will cover Maps, WhatsApp, and casual browsing. If you're spending one to two weeks travelling around Chile, step up to a mid-tier plan — usually the strongest value option on a per-GB basis in Saily's Chile lineup.
If you plan to work remotely, stream video daily, or use your phone as a hotspot for a laptop, lean towards a larger bundle.
One thing to note: Saily Chile plans are data-only. You won't get a local number, but your existing SIM handles calls and texts as normal. iMessage, WhatsApp, and FaceTime all work over data.

Saily eSIM for Chile 2026 — what you need to know
Saily is a well-regarded eSIM provider with solid Chile coverage. Plans range from short-break options to longer-stay packages, making Saily a flexible choice whether you're spending a long weekend or travelling for a month.
Chile has four operators: Entel, Movistar (Telefónica), Claro and WOM. Entel has the widest 4G and 5G footprint by some distance, which matters in a country this long. 5G is now standard in Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, La Serena and Antofagasta, and is being rolled out in Patagonian cities like Punta Arenas and Puerto Montt. The Atacama desert has signal in San Pedro and along the main highway but drops out fast on the back roads. Torres del Paine has signal at the park entrance and main refugios but the W and O circuits go off-grid for hours at a time. Easter Island has its own coverage from Entel and Claro on the populated west side.
Is Saily good in Chile?
In our testing, Saily connected reliably across major cities and travel routes in Chile. Plug is type C/L (220V). Chile is long, really long, and the climate ranges from desert to glacier, so pack layers no matter the season. Currency is the Chilean peso and contactless is widely accepted in Santiago.
